How To Promote Clickbank Products

Clickbank ™ is the most popular digital publishing platform on the Internet. It powers tens of thousands of digital products published by thousands of companies. They handle the payment processing, the affiliate payments and they never missed a payment in the last 15 years or so. This is usually the first place to go when you’re looking for good info products to promote.

The reason is simple: it’s easy to signup to Clickbank, and once you’re in, you can promote any product from the marketplace without a sweat. No traffic restriction, no approval process and tons of stats.

But, this does not mean it’s easy to make commissions. First, you need to select a niche and a set of 2-3 products (those with good payouts and some kind of history). Don’t look at the gravity of ti all, as it’s not why you will make the commissions. Instead, look at how professional the sales letter is and how well they will work on your traffic to convert it. That’s the only thing that matters.

Then, what I recommend is that you create a blog and you place reviews in it. You can search for one of our previous articles related to “The Power Of Pre-Selling” to find out why you should create reviews, especially for Clickbank products. CB products are good, and you can find some gems with great copywriting. But still, you would need to pre-sell your traffic to boost your conversions and make the most of your paid traffic (yeah, we don’t deal with SEO on this blog).

So, buy some good reviews and work from here. You can turn these reviews into videos and publish them on Youtube (people like to search on Youtube for info product reviews), and then, you link to your blog from there. Then, buy some traffic through self-serving platforms (we will cover this in an upcoming article), or through Facebook, Bing and send it to your Blog for a review. Make sure this blog looks good and that it provides value. Add a lead capture form on the sidebar and some banners to make the most of all the traffic you will send.

This is for the basic setup. Track what you send and how many subscribers you get, how many sales you get from your articles from your follow-up emails and improve from there!

Advanced Setup: If you’re serious about buying traffic (which you should be), then you need to make the most of it. Traffic is everywhere, but it can be extensive and sometimes, you won’t break even, meaning you will spend more than what you make back. Don’t worry, it’s normal. Some of your campaigns will show a good ROI, some won’t. But, there’s a way to improve your ROI and even to turn a negative ROI into a positive ROI.

We’ve already mentioned capturing leads above: this is a good solution to get some indirect value from your paid traffic. You collect a lead. Then, you nurture it and you convert that lead into a customer. This will be instant positive ROI, as a lead does not cost you anything, once it is into your auto-responder.

Then, you can re-target traffic coming to your blog or clicking through your affiliate link (this is even more advanced) or, you can hire a company to do the work for you. Results can be outrageous with an enormously high ROI. We’ve seen ROI at around 3000% when doing re-targeting! Imagine all the traffic you could buy with such ROI…
